Advertising/Posting Title Associate Manager of Information Systems

Posting Summary
Oversee systems administration, design and analysis to optimize business systems. Serve as the bridge to connect the needs of end users throughout PACE functional areas with technical solutions and ensure systems involving CRM, marketing tools, and website are functioning properly to better meet the needs of our student population. Take primary responsibility for data quality used by PACE to support students in their pursuit of learning and career goals. Leads, directs, and reviews the work of team members, Web Programmer and Web Content Manager, to accomplish operational plans and results. Assist with departmental data analysis projects, providing expertise around CRM and Inbound Marketing. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements. Establish project priorities to align with strategic organizational goals. Create and define scope and schedule of development and maintenance for information/data analysis projects. Provide training, support, and documentation to users on data systems; work on special projects as assigned. Reports to Manager of Information Systems and Online Learning.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, business administration or related field and 3-5 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination required. Salesforce Sales Cloud administration experience required. Data analysis experience required. Demonstrated skills in IT project management, and attention to detail required. Supervisor experience such as work prioritization, coaching and process execution required. Effective interpersonal, communication and analytical skills required. Demonstrated knowledge of basic programming/scripting, web development, and experience with Information Security best practices required. Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team environment required.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Salesforce Developer certification
  • HubSpot inbound marketing
  • WordPress CMS
  • Familiarity with Banner Student Information System.
  • Experience in Power BI, including data transformation, modeling, and visualization.
  • SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with other reporting tools is a plus.
  • Experience in a higher education environment.
Anticipated Pay Range $70,000 to $85,000/year
Other Information
Remote work negotiable in accordance with the university telecommuting policy.
Special Conditions A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, A probationary period may be required, Background Check required for this position
