JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The College of Letters & Science (L&S) is
the heart of UW-Madison and home to a tremendous breadth and depth of
departments and degree-granting programs in the humanities, natural,
physical, biological, and social sciences, and the computing, data and
information sciences. L&S is recruiting this critical role to provide
key project management, communication and change management expertise.
Initially, the primary focus of this position is to provide project
management for the relocation of three L&S academic units (Computer
Science, iSchool and Statistics) to their new facility set to open in
the summer of 2025 In parallel, this person will be responsible for a
similar process for Levy Hall, set to open in the summer of 2026. This
position will also provide project management services and expertise for
the one-time physical transition of these units and establishment of
operational processes in the new building. The position will collaborate
with L&S leads and others in facilities administration, information
technology and communications. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for
Facilities Planning and Development, the Project Manager will: - Serve
as a subject matter consultant for project management activities across
several key areas of administrative operations (including but not
limited to facilities administration, IT and business services) -
Evaluate administrative and related processes, strengthen communication
and guide change management activities for the wide variety of
stakeholders throughout the college and campus - Actively contribute to
college and campus working groups, develop metrics and use appropriate
tools to inform direction as well as maximize success and continuous
improvement - Advance, embed and support diversity, equity, inclusion
and belonging values and commitments throughout all areas of

functions of facility planning initiatives or projects to provide
informed solutions promoting the effective utilization of resources and
