| Required Skills: | • Must have had a valid US driver’s license for the last 3 years. (If do not have MN driver’s license, must be willing to switch to MN driver's license.)
• Must be able to pass a driving records check, criminal records check, and drug screen.
• Must have a CDL or be willing to go through our 3-4 week training program to get a CDL. (paid training)
• Must be available to work morning and afternoon routes. Morning routes start around 6:00 AM and afternoon routes end around 5:00 PM. |

SCHOOL BUS DRIVER POSITION
$25/hour + More $ for experienced drivers
Hiring Bonus up to $3,000 for experienced drivers
Retention Bonus after Summer
Performance Bonus starting September 2024

-Guaranteed Hours: We work with multiple different school districts in the area, so we can guarantee full-time hours and we have opportunities for our drivers to pick up additional hours.

We provide PAID Permit training classes ($15/hour) and PAID CDL classes ($20/hour). Our training prepares drivers to get a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Passenger and School Bus endorsements. We do not require drivers to have an Air Brakes endorsement, so we do not train for Air Brakes.
With our $25 per hour starting wages we offer full-time and part-time routes and allow drivers to bring up to two children with them on the bus (so you save on daycare). We also have monthly drawings for safety bonuses.
Full-time routes (40+ hours/week). Part-time routes (25-35 hours/week).
Full-time routes are in Minneapolis, Bloomington, Richfield, & North St. Paul.
Part-time routes could be in any of the following communities/school districts: Anoka-Hennepin, Mounds View, St. Anthony, Osseo, White Bear Lake, Edina, Minnetonka, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, and various charter schools.
ABOUT OUR COMPANY:
Metropolitan Transportation Network (MTN) was founded as a private, minority-owned firm in 2004. The company initially provided service to specialized customers, including homeless students, those with special needs, and the general student population. Current customers include public, charter, and private schools providing both regular and special education. We also offered individual home-to-school and open-enrollment pupil transportation.
