Summary/ Objective:
Primary responsibility for managing customer requests and selling SYD products and services with the goal of sales growth and enhanced profitability.
Essential Functions:
Understand the Schaedler Yesco Vision, Mission, and Values
Provide each customer with a Schaedler Yesco Brand Promise - "Experience the Difference"
Enter/process sales orders, bids, credits, and transfers time-sensitively and proficiently
Offer promotional item(s) and services as applicable
Manage bid opportunities via the Bid Follow-up process
Manage and balance your workload daily for the completion of all request
Obtain special pricing from vendors as needed for BOM
Use Vendor websites for product searches, price and availability, and cut sheets
Enter UET's to improve Company performance
Utilize and manage queues for prioritizing, tracking, and following up on customer orders
Answer phone calls to meet Company standards
Enter Sales Calls to relay pertain account information
Manage daily schedule, e-mail, and voicemail to reflect current activities
Support all sales teams' activities
Actively pursue self-improvement through training
Collaborate on account strategies with appropriate individual(s)
Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy
Work with our Joint Venture Business Partners where applicability
Customer site visits as appropriate
Manage customer accounts via inventory levels, pricing, and relationships
Competencies:
Customer Service Skills: The customer is always right. Inside sales reps will need to be able to speak in a friendly way to customers and potential customers, listening to their needs and helping communicate options for them.
Communication Skills: speak to customers about a product's different features, and answer any questions they might have.
Persistence: Not every customer is going to be a sale. Being able to bounce back if you lose a sale will be key for this job.

This is a non-supervisory role.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Check and respond to e-mails and voicemail messages continually throughout the day
Seek out and attend appropriate internal and external training

Ability to learn new software, systems or programs utilized by the company

Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
Physical Demands :
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel :
No travel is required for this position.
Education and Experience:
Education - high school/GED
Working knowledge of electrical products and/or field experience in the electrical industry or electrical distribution
