Description

Express Calibration is headquartered in Lee’s Summit, Missouri with over 12 years in the Avionics, Air Data, and RF/MW repair and calibration industry. 

 

The Calibration Lab Supervisor has the overall responsibility for planning, coordinating, evaluating, and supervising all lab and technical related activities as well as management of all calibration technicians. The Calibration Lab Supervisor will work closely with the Customer Service Supervisor to promote collaboration and alignment of company goals between customer service and the laboratory. Targeting someone with experience with calibration & ISO 17025 experience. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work Directly with the Director of Operations of Express Calibration Services to achieve company objectives. 

  • Work Directly with the Customer Service Supervisor for efficient workflow through the company. 

  • Responsible for workflow of calibrations and repairs though the lab. 

  • Provide guidance for technicians in their day-to-day responsibilities. 

  • Evaluate growth opportunities for the technicians. 

  • Perform calibrations and technical related duties as needed. 

  • Has the authority to make personnel decisions to meet company objectives. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a calibration lab. 

  • Prior PMEL or TMDE military experience is highly preferred. 

  • Exceptional customer service and leadership skills. 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
