We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting/Billing Clerk in the retail industry, situated in Bridgehampton, New York. As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for various tasks including managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and handling customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage customer accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Process and handle customer credit applications with precision
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner
• Utilize IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions
• Manage billing functions with the help of ADP - Financial Services
• Perform claim administration tasks as per the company's guidelines
• Implement collection processes as needed
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Use Microsoft Office Suites for various administrative tasks.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Billing Clerk role or similar position within the retail industry
• Proficiency in accounting software systems
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• In-depth understanding of accounting functions
• Experience in handling billing functions
• Knowledge of claim administration processes
• Familiarity with collection processes
• Excellent customer service skills
