Job Responsibilities

A member of the construction team reporting to Allison Offshore Services Supervisor or Customer's Person in Charge.

Operates diesel powered crane to lift and move material and objects.

Operates crane to lift personnel from boat to platform.

Performs Pre- Use Inspections according to Allison Policies and government regulatory standards and/for safe work practices.

Utilizes Critical Lift Form prior to performing lifts that are required by Allison Policy.

Inspects equipment for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions.

Participate in JSA’s and all other Safety, Health and Environmental Processes.

Conduct behavioral based safety observations.

Assist construction crew as needed when not operating the crane.
Skills & Required Experience
- Recent offshore construction experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an offshore crane operator, hydraulic pedestal.
- Prior experience safely transporting personnel with the crane, prior Class A experience and certification.
- Experience using safe work habits.
- Prior Crane Certification or ability to obtain certifications if needed.
- Prior Offshore Training Certifications of some sort.
Prior Offshore Experience Is Mandatory.
