DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS:- Responsible for repairing garage doors, door operators, replacing worn or broken door parts, installing new equipment including doors, and replacing springs;
- Must be able to work on hinges, hydraulic door closures, and putting in wood doors;
- Be able to explain in detail and help the customer understand their options to repair the issue and prevent future ones;
- Travel to customers' location to troubleshoot/diagnose issues and provide service/repair;
- Project a customer focused image through competent service procedures, and professional communication;
- Install and/or service a wide range of automatic doors and door parts;
- Install and/or service a wide range of commercial doors and hardware;
- Maintain accurate service data through diligent and timely use of all service documentation and technical data;
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products or services;
- Operate in a safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties;
- Must be able to lift heavy objects throughout the work day;
- Other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be organized, efficient, and have practical problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN AND SUBSEQUENT RANDOM DRUG TESTS
MUST NOT BE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS AND WILLING TO WORK IN HOT/COLD TEMPERATURES
STEEL TOE BOOTS ARE REQUIRED
SOME OUT OF TOWN TRAVEL MAY BE NECESSARY
OVERTIME IS AVAILABLE
