Job Description:
EMP SERV, LLC “Pipestone” seeks Site Manager (multiple positions) in Pipestone, MN.

Manage and participate in farm production including bio-security, animal welfare, maintaining a safe work environment, ventilation controls, and facility management. Manage and train employees to follow production protocols and procedures. Monitor protocols and production and efficiencies. Ensure appropriate and accurate inventory management of swine, semen ordering & supplies. Monitor feed inventory. Conduct goal setting with employees and monitor to maximize production. Analyze financial reporting and make appropriate adjustments to meet and/or exceed budget. Conduct appropriate SOAP analysis where applicable. Complete or supervise completion of required reporting through website, faxing, emails, etc. Participate with Human Resources in recruiting, interviewing, and retaining farm employees. Create and utilize consistent monitoring of task schedules for both Gestation and Farrowing. Ensure appropriate Porcitec data entry, reports and corrections are completed accurately and timely. Take appropriate measures to ensure bio-security audit deficiencies are corrected and brought into compliance in a timely manner. Participate as requested in animal welfare audits and ensure any recommended corrective actions are implemented timely. Train and manage staff to adhere to all animal welfare and PQA guidelines. Train Assistant Site Manager in all designated aspects of management. Train assistant manager and other employees on financial aspects of the farm. Train and manage staff to adhere to all bio-security protocols. Train employees in accident prevention. Train designated employees to monitor ventilation system in the Site Manager’s absence. Monitor area ventilation system to ensure it is in good working condition and regularly monitor the environment and provide input to Lead to achieve optimum comfort for the animals. Train and direct staff to complete routine maintenance.

Train and direct staff including Swine Technicians, Farrowing Lead, Gestation Lead, Gestation Developer Unit Lead/Specialist, Front End Specialist, Filter Compliance Technician, and Swine Leads.

Telecommuting permitted. Requires travel and placement at indeterminate client locations throughout the United States.
