Summary:
Barr is looking to hire a full-time Archaeological Principal Investigator to
support our growing cultural resource management practice in the Southwest
region of the United States. The person in this position will work with Barr
scientists and engineers, clients, and regulatory agencies to address
cultural resources and regulatory issues related to Barr projects. Work may
include:
Performing due diligence reviews for cultural resource management projects
Developing documentation and coordinating with the State Historic Preservation
Office and Tribal Historic Preservation Program for Section 106 concurrence
Drafting and reviewing sections of state and federal environmental review
documents
Assisting with permit applications and other technical writing
Helping clients interpret regulations and work within regulatory constraints
Developing preliminary reports required for project approvals
Preparing documents and reports related to the mitigation of project impacts
