JOB REQUIREMENTS: Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public
or private sector organizations. Duties and responsibilities include
formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of
materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature
to be classified in any one functional area of management or
administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative
services. The candidate must have previous management experience with a
grocery background preferred. This person must have an eye for detail,
great organizational, planning, trouble shooting and communication
skills, superior follow through and a flexible work schedule that
includes weekends, nights, and holidays. This is a full-time hands-on
managerial position as Store Manager of Tietz\'s Piggly Wiggly in
Plymouth, Wisconsin. This candidate will lead the day-to-day operation
of the store to meet objectives for sales, inventory, staffing, and
customer service. Must have great customer service, an eye for detail,
great organizational and communication skills, superior follow through
and a flexible work schedule that includes weekends, nights, and
holidays. Act as the Company\'s representative both within the store and
within the community and maintain a well-groomed personal appearance at
all times to set an example for others to follow. They will work with,
mentor, lead and coach Department Managers and employees and should have
good interpersonal skills. Be able to juggle many different
responsibilities, such as monitoring store or department functions,
strategic planning, scheduling, corporate policy compliance, and the
maintenance of a reasonable profit margin. Lead initiatives that will
impact the business in a positive way. This can be through the
development of action plans, cost analysis, display ideas etc. Be
accountable for ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers
and a positive working environment for employees. This work environment
is fast paced and requires active participation in all duties and
responsibilities. OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Establish and
implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for store
operations. Plan and coordinate advertising campaigns and sales
promotions, and prepare merchandise displays and advertising copy. Plan
and prepare work schedules and keep records of employees\' work
schedules and time cards. Review inventory and sales records to prepare
reports for management and budget departments. Work with all Department
Managers to ensure and maintain appropriate functioning of entire store
operations. Be able to build strong teams, which includes hiring,
training, developing, mentoring, recognizing and retaining the
management and staff as well as rewarding and disciplining associates;
addressing complaints and resolving problems. Monitor and address staff
issues, personnel situations, recognition, and policy violations.
Observe and enforce company grooming standards and dress regulations.
Prepare for and lead a weekly Department Managers meeting to ensure they
are held accountable for the conditions of their department. This
includes monitoring their hiring practices, scheduling techniques, and
their ability to keep labor costs at or below budgeted payroll; ensures
staff is trained on all policies and procedures. Assist other Department
Managers as needed with ordering, receiving, controlling, stocking, and
displaying of grocery merchandise and ad items. Prepare weekly
schedules, sales/labor projections, executes to plan, and consistently
achieves budgeted payroll percentage. Maintain a safe work environment
for employees, vendors and customers by following and enforcing company
sanitation, cleanliness and safety guidelines in accordance with company
policy and local laws and best practices. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE
AND QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must have 2 years previous management
experience with a grocery background preferred. This person must have an
eye for detail, great organizational, planning, trouble shooting and
communication skills, superior follow through and a flexible work
schedule that includes weekends, some nights, and some holidays. This is
