JSE V&V Data Scientist

• Location:Patuxent River, Maryland
• Security Clearance:Active Secret Clearance Required -U.S. citizenship required
• Salary:$120,000 - $150,000Depending on Experience and Education

Position Summary

SURVICE Engineeringis currently seeking aJSE V&V Data Scientistto support our Patuxent Area Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities of JSE V&V Data Scientist

• Modeling and Simulation Verification and Validation using data science tools and skills.
• Conduct Data Mining, Data Analysis, Data Transformation, and Data Visualization on large data sets (Big Data).
• Research and apply data science techniques to assess, extract, evaluate, and compare M&S outputs with representative real-world referents (reference data).
• Develop applications to automate solutions

Minimum Qualifications of JSE V&V Data Scientist
Bachelor's Degree in STEM related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.

Primary Knowledge & Skills Desired

• Experience with data mining, data wrangling, data analysis, data transformation, data visualization.
• Experience or exposure to statistics; modeling and simulation; verification, validation, and accreditation.
