A Snapshot of Your Day
Responsibilities include performing an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse/assembly/repair of different tooling including, but not limited to, Generator, 8000H, 9000HL, SGT, and V tooling fixtures. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The primary purpose of this job is to support the goals and objectives of various jobsites through a sense of urgency and an eye for quality to ensure that all products are assembled to meet customer specifications. As part of the Siemens Energy family, this position is often required to move between other departments to help cover gaps and ensure the timely delivery of products to customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials as well as picking and filling orders from stock between multiple departments.
- Ensure an accurate assessment of outgoing orders for customers.
- Maintain knowledge across multiple departments throughout the facility.
- Communicate issues that arise to your management team.
- Make safety a priority through PPE use and Human Performance Skills.
- Follow all process and procedures that have been established.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma
- Forklift trained and certified.
- Minimum 6 months experience in TCTP and inventory control.
- Minimum 6 months experience in shop type environment.
