Akron Children's Hospital - Child Abuse Pediatrician Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our Children at Risk Evaluation (CARE) Center. The candidate should be a BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician, or a BC General Pediatrician with experience in child abuse and neglect.

The CARE Center evaluates and initiates treatment for children of suspected physical or sexual abuse and neglect. We have a team of doctors, nurses, and social workers (dedicated to the Center) who evaluate children and teens referred by private physicians, law enforcement agencies, child protection agencies and other community agencies. Our team also provides consultation services for suspected child maltreatment cases admitted to our inpatient units. We are an accredited Child Advocacy Center (CAC) through the National Children's Alliance.
