Job Description:
Need 20 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Stearns County.
From: 02/15/2024 to 12/15/2024
Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half.
Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here at his sole discretion.
ESST Law: An employee earns one hour of safe and sick time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year. The employee must work atleast 80 hours in a year for an employer of Minnesota.

JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to till, plant, cultivate, and harvest grain crops. Attached farm implements, such as plow, disc, and drills to tractors. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools and farmworkers. Employer will provide tools, equipment and supplies at no cost to worker.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Minimum of (3) months experience. Must have or be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. No minimum education required. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
