Sales Strategy and Operations Analyst, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales finance, planning, consulting, investment banking, or similar data-driven business roles.
  • Experience with SQL and other database, scripting, or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience modeling enterprise business performance metrics such as consumption based business and bookings.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence business leadership.
  • Ability to construct simple and impactful messages from complex analysis.

About the job

As part of the central Google Cloud Go-To-Market Strategy team, you will use a data-driven approach to sharpen decision making and drive a deep understanding of our fast growing business. You will combine your problem-solving skills and business acumen to help drive and develop the strategy and performance metrics business and ensure rapid and long-term sustainable growth of Google Cloud.

In this role, you will focus on shaping the short and long-term trajectory for the business by partnering with Sales leadership, Finance, Compensation Administration, and cross-functional operations teams. You will deliver insights and targeted action plans by addressing specific areas of risk and opportunity while working cross-functionally. You'll enable the regional teams with at-scale insights, analysis, processes and tools providing thought leadership and input into global projects.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Influence executive-level decision making through deep, scalable, and actionable problem-solving insights into core business decisions.
  • Structure and communicate complex and ambiguous business issues to advise the Google Cloud Sales leadership team.
  • Build a network across Sales, Operations, Business Intelligence, and Finance, both in partnership and across teams, to resolve a range of problem-solving and operational questions.
  • Design robust and scalable processes to minimize inefficiencies.
  • Create spreadsheet modeling and dashboard for business performance metrics.
