Job Description:
Braun Intertec is seeking a Project Consultant with 5+ years of air permitting and compliance experience to join our environmental Air Practice Group within the Compliance and Permitting team. This opportunity affords the right candidate to sit remotely.<br>
<br>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<br>
<ul>
<li>Support a variety of clients with their air compliance and permitting needs</li>
<li>Act as a technical and project lead on a variety of air permitting and compliance projects, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with senior staff as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain client relationships through excellent project work and responsive and effective communication</li>
<li>Delegate tasks and mentor staff</li>
<li>Manage project budgets, schedules, and project teams</li>
<li>Manage projects independently</li>
<li>Stay current with technical and project management skills</li></ul>
<br>
<b>Required Skills:</b>
<br>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of air permitting in the following areas: NSR, Title V, PSD, GHG Reporting and Planning, BACT, NNSR, etc</li>
<li>Ability to advocate on behalf of the client</li>
<li>Ability to develop creative solutions to solve problems and drive projects to completion</li>
<li>Understanding of air permitting and compliance issues for multiple industries</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret regulations and perform applicability determinations</li>
<li>Proficiency in air emission calculations, regulatory assessments, and technical writing</li>
<li>Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to the needs of the audience (e.g, colleagues, clients, regulatory agencies, etc.)</li>
<li>OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred</li>
<li>Air dispersion modeling experience a plus</li></ul>
<br>
<b>Required Experience:</b>
<br>
<ul>
<li>BS degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of environmental experience in air permitting and compliance</li>
<li>Proven safety culture</li>
<li>Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.</li></ul>
