Join our team as a Sr Sales Enablement & Training Specialist!
This is a hybrid role based out of Maple Plain, MN.
The Sr Sales Enablement & Training Specialist is responsible for leading the development and provision of content, training, and tools to support Sales members as they onboard, improve their skills, and grow their sales. This role will work closely with Sales, Product Management and Marketing. This position will report directly to the Director of Global Sales Operations for Protolabs.
What will you will do:
Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Talent Development, Product and Sales Operations to assess needs related to training and development in order to execute immediate business needs and build long-term strategy
Roles supported will range from Sales Specialists to Strategic Account Managers
Support Go-to-Market initiatives around the launch and adoption of product enhancements, business process updates and strategic messaging adjustments to best relate to the priorities of the customer base
Support the onboarding and ramping of incoming members of the sales and customer success teams to quickly achieve key performance metrics for their individual roles
Develop content and training programs targeted to individual role or performance gaps
Track the effectiveness of these programs by showing areas of improvement and development over time
Determine the most effective content delivery method based on subject matter and audience to ensure high-quality and engaging experiences - including live and on-demand video recordings, knowledge-based assessments, peer learning, etc
Partner with sales and customer success management to regularly conduct 1:1 call coaching to best identify training and enablement needs across the organization and provide constructive feedback to reps and leaders
Partner with leaders across the organization to effectively launch and develop cross-sell initiatives, strategies, and Go-to-Market items
Use our Learning Management System to deploy trainings, certifications, learning programs, courses, and the like to enable sellers with the most relevant and important information to succeed in their roles
Will be an asset to the planning and execution of Sales Kickoff events and material creation
Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes:
Previous sales training, enablement, curriculum development experience
A minimum of 5 years experience with Training in a remote or live setting
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Knowledge about the sales process and skilled in content creation, oral and written presentations, and sales enablement delivery models
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly identify needs of stakeholders and proactively propose programs in support of team goals

The ability to be an engaging presenter who can deliver information effectively and encourages participation in remote environments

Priority to feedback and engagement and aims to make the teams in which they support an active part of the training process

A proactive mindset, highly motivated, and adaptable to change

Experience with Salesforce and in SaaS

VERY strong organizational and prioritization skills
