2024-2025 academic year, one vacancy POSITION SUMMARY: The Department of
Natural Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Superior invites
applications for the position of one-year Visiting Assistant Professor
of Biology beginning in August 2024 to instruct for the 2024-2025
academic year. The Department is seeking individuals who will provide
excellent undergraduate instruction, incorporate current techniques in
teaching and research, and work collaboratively to strengthen the
Departments biology program. We are specifically seeking Biologists who
can contribute to our growing Pre-Health program and the organismal and
ecology side of our Biology major. JOB DUTIES: Teach 12 contact hours
per semester. Courses could include Introductory Biology for majors,
Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, and University Studies
course(s) for non-science majors in line with our liberal arts
foundation. Courses could include a combination of on-campus and online
classes. Other Duties: Complete required trainings and professional
development as assigned. Other duties as assigned. STARTING DATE: August
