Position Summary
The Postdoctoral Associate will study and perform research in Biomedical Informatics, working on Bioinformatics and Data Science related research. The focus of the research will be on one or more of the following topics:

  • Developing a novel AI tool for binding affinity prediction
  • Building a knowledge graph with biological and chemical entities of interest to predict polypharmacy associated adverse drug reactions
  • Enhancing drug design software

Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD in Biomedical Informatics or a related field, such as, Computer Science, Statistics, Computational Biology, or Computational Chemistry
  • Strong interest in Clinical Informatics and/or Bioinformatics
  • Experience working with translational science or computational biology
  • Experience programming in Python
  • Understanding of machine/deep learning topics
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Python programming skills
  • Proven experience developing and applying AI models
  • Experience with software development
Physical Demands
Salary Range $50,000 - $52,000
Additional Salary Information The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
