Project Cost Controls Analyst

Minneapolis, MN

System One is currently seeking a Project Cost Controls Analyst on a 12 month contract position located in Minneapolis, MN.

Project Cost Responsibilities:

  • Project Overview and deliverables

  • This role will be within the Energy Supply, this encompasses anything to do with generation like nuclear, coal to gas, wind, solar and battery.

  • The primary responsibilities would be analyzing costs that have come in on capital projects, monthly/yearly forecasting, budgeting accruals, reading work orders and contracts on the project to determine if they are able to be pushed out for PO's.

  • In addition to working alongside of our project managers and keeping up with the project; keeping up with where the project status is and what's moving around, keeping accurate financials on project, etc.

  • Will be working on larger projects within portfolio, more than 2 MM to several hundred million.

    Cost Analyst Requirements:

  • 8-10 years experience

  • Must have strong proficiency with Excel as they will be doing pivot tables, graphs, etc. for presentations.

  • Experience with macros is preferred.

  • Knowledge in SAP to pull reporting.

    Duration: 12 months

    Location: Minneapolis, MN

    Pay Rate: $65-67/hr
