The Senior Financial Analyst will work with the Manager of Revenue Accounting and Professional Services functions to support the project review process through enhanced reporting and analysis and undertake responsibilities that enable business transformation and growth in a publicly traded technology company. Specific on-the-job training will be provided.
Your Impact
Maintain and update data inputs that drive revenue recognition under topic ASC 606 - Contracts with Customers.
As a business partner to Professional Services, develop processes and provide project financial information to enable real-time analysis and decision making.
Participate in Project Review meetings; take action to resolve questions and improve go-forward reporting and processes.
Proactively identify and implement process improvements while adhering to internal controls in a SOX environment.
Support internal and external audit processes collaborating with the Manager to meet deliverables and address explanations.
Other duties as assigned related to business transformation.
Perform assigned month-end, quarter-end, year-end duties in a timely manner.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field from an accredited university.
3 + years of accounting experience in a publicly traded organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel formulas, pivot tables, charts and advanced data modeling skills.
Process oriented with strong attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with ability to facilitate open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders.
Proven history of balancing multiple priorities with the ability to adapt to changing needs of business while continuing to meet deadlines.
CPA, experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles preferred.
Experience with a project-based organization preferred.
Strong systems skills, including: ERP's (Epicor) , Oracle, Zuora and TimeKeeper
