Position Overview:Order Fulfillment Specialists are responsible for a variety of tasks associated with maintaining Digi-Key's stock quality and integrity as well as processing and fulfilling customers' orders.

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 6:00pm-4:30am
Responsibilities:

Pick parts in an assigned zone, quickly and accurately using I-Pick Scanner

Prepackage product for bin/emergency stock

Inspect quality of the product before prepackaging

Assist with the migration of product as needed throughout the PDC

Perform packaging tasks including:

Review pack lists to insure correct quantities

Verify correct parts have been picked

Box product and prepare for shipping

Cut tape and reel product into sale package quantities

Conduct inventory counts and update computer system to show correct quantity on hand

Assist in removal of obsolete and discontinued product

Analyze physical inventory records and resolve inventory count discrepancies

Identify and resolve any issues of mixed product in a storage location

Set stock and restock levels for storage locations

Conduct and complete inventory related projects as assigned

Perform tasks in multiple areas of the PDC
Required knowledge, skills and experience

Must be able to be trained in a PDC pick and/or pack function

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English

Basic computer navigation and typing skills

Must be detail oriented

Ability to actively participate as a team member in order to meet departmental goals

Ability to provide a positive, professional and enthusiastic outlook or perspective

Demonstrated ability to multi-task as well as the ability to change focus quickly based on requests by employees/management

Able to solve problems quickly and efficiently

Ability to be certified on our picking equipment, up to 20 feet in the air.

Regular and consistent attendance required

Dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success
Physical Requirements:

Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body

May move/stand on concrete throughout 10-12 hour shift

Routinely lift 5-10 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs and rarely up to 77+lbs (with assistance)

Able to twist or bend and occasionally climb stairs

Able to reach with hands and arms above shoulder level
