What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
The Software Engineer – Salesforce Developer will be responsible for working across the Salesforce Landscape for large to medium size project implementations supporting the Pharmaceutical Segment Sales and Service processes. Candidate should have a broad and deep understanding of the Salesforce Sales/Service Clouds and is responsible for ensuring the implementation of standard Industry best practices / processes enabled by Salesforce and its integration with various systems across the landscape to deliver the end-to end-solutions.
Responsibilities
Manage/develop/coordinate delivery and maintenance of Technology solutions, including but not limited to Salesforce.com Sales/Service Cloud solutions
Contribute and assist in solution architecture to various projects in adherence to the overall Sales and Service Strategy and Roadmap
Participate in and ensure accurate and consistent use of applicable Run and Build project tracking application(s) (i.e. Service Now, Jira, etc.)
Write technical documents, write/fix existing code, and participate in code reviews, data fixes and testing.
Demonstrate functional integration with business users documenting requirements, functional specifications, functional/regression/UATtesting.
Work closely with Managed Packages and External Vendors
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience preferred. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce functionality is a plus.
BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred. Advance Degree preferred
Working knowledge of two or more Salesforce technologies preferred
Salesforce Admin/Developer Certifications are desired
Experience with coding in Apex is preferred
Strong technical experience working on medium to large SFDC implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apttus CLM.
Familiarity with Salesforce.com Communities/Digital Experience Pages
Demonstrated preferred skills in managing DevOps in a complex Salesforce.com environment
Prior build experience with APIs and integrations is a plus
Working experience with middleware tools like Dell Boomi, APIGEE, Attunity is a plus
Experience in both Build and Run projects
Understanding of Agile methodologies

Anticipated salary range: $92,100 - $131,600
