The Opportunity  

This position works out of our Livermore, CA location in the Heart Failure Division  

As the Payment Administration & Review Manager you will lead and manage the company’s healthcare payments received, review and administer the follow-up action in terms of coordinating with Insurances / patients / other parties as necessary across Diagnostic and DME verticals. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, developing, and managing inhouse teams.

What You’ll Work On 

  • Analyze EOBs and post manual payments
  • Identify payers with payment posting issues
  • Accurately correct payment posting errors by reviewing credits
  • Investigate payment issues while addressing outstanding payment discrepancies and denials to expedite resolution
  • Document all payment-related activities and communications thoroughly and accurately.
  • Lead and close internal quality reviews and projects
  • Respond to Insurance specific Additional document requests or other documentation as needed
  • Maintain payor review trending analytics and report to the management
  • Extend process improvement feedback and training to the internal Revenue Cycle team
  • Perform other duties as assigned.​

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care administration, Finance/Accounting or related field
  • 13 years experience in Revenue Cycle Management
  • Knowledge of Accounting & Finance with Microsoft Excel , Power point for reporting
  • 2+ years experience with revenue cycle management and billing for commercial and Medicaid plans with payment posting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Experience working with all commercial and government payor portals
  • Knowledge of the denials, and corrections
  • This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • MBA, CPA, CMA preferred, but not required

The base pay for this position is $112,000.00 – $224,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
