Job Description:
Provides leadership and direction for supply chain processes and personnel within Distribution Centers that service facilities across multiple states. Accountable for strategic planning, overall system level processes and the development of metrics designed to maximize supply chain performance in support of customer locations. This individual is also responsible for developing a culture of continuous improvement, benchmarking with other healthcare systems and industries, and developing 3-5 year plans by researching leading practices and scanning the horizon for technology and process breakthroughs.

Education Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to: staff engagement, productivity, reporting dashboards, customer service, cost control, inventory management, cycle counting, product conversion processes, inbound and outbound transportation, couriers, receiving, quality control, environmental control, security and optimization of technologies used in operations
  • Further responsible for ensuring processes connected to other supply chain departments are synchronized and managed through cross-functional team engagement
  • Develops content for and leads regular meetings with Supply Chain Operations leaders at customer locations to ensure Distribution Operations are providing the highest levels of customer service in support of patient care

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in supply chain, healthcare, retail, transportation, manufacturing, or industrial engineering to include 5 years’ experience in a leadership role
  • Experience with implementing organization change, establishing budget plans, program development and process improvement techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a multi-site, multi-state healthcare supply chain
  • Master’s Degree
