JOB REQUIREMENTS: Continuous Improvement Intern - 350
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary Purpose of the Role The primary
purpose is to optimize processes and systems within the organization.
Essential Job Duties \* Investigate, experiment, and implement processes
to maximize productivity. \* Proactive problem solving based on
statistical analysis. \* Develop and implement new procedures and
processes to increase the overall uptime and availability of systems and
equipment. \* Provides technical support using problem solving
techniques. \* Creates and modifies procedures as needed to maximize
equipment and maintenance operations. \* Provides active support and
participation in safety-related projects as an active member of the
Hoffmaster safety culture. \* Follows and maintains all Food Safety,
GMP, and HACCP Guidelines. \* Performs other duties as assigned. The

Many of our past interns have been offered full time roles upon
graduation or have stayed on part time through the school year. \* Fresh

Transfer- Internshave the chance to learn from experienced professionals
and gain industry-specific insights. \* School Credit- Because
Hoffmaster focuses on providing meaningful projects to interns, our
internships will satisfy most schools internship requirements. \* Full
time employment- Internships and projects are designed to last 10 weeks
over the summer. Hours will be Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm and pay
starts at \$20 / hour. All qualified applicants will receive

Skills/Abilities \* Performs work under general supervision. \*
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills. \* Strong
attention to detail and willingness to assist others. \* Participate in
kaizen events. \* Develop process flows and line layouts. \* Experience
in Microsoft Office Suite and 2D CAD software, including DraftSight
and/or AutoCAD. \* Experience in 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks,
