Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mid-Senior Level Data Engineer working a hybrid (70% remote) schedule on a 6 month contract with our client in the healthcare industry in their Bloomington, MN location.
Salary: 95k/yr-105k/yr
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with an external vendor to retrieve and process large datasets
Design and implement data pipelines using Databricks, Azure, and Python programming languages
Develop back-end data engineering solutions during the cloud migration process
Work with Power BI to create data visualizations and reports, leveraging data assets built by the team
Utilize strong Python programming skills to drive project development
Preferred Skills:
Strong experience with Python programming language
Experience with Azure Databricks.
SAS Programming background.
Strong data visualization skills using Power BI (or similar tools)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Possesses a strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
Is outgoing, energetic, and personable, with excellent communication and collaboration skills

This role is required to analyze and provide guidance on optimizing cost savings when renegotiating Cook Biotech's IT Vendor agreements. I anticipate this being a one time 3-5 month engagement, but required ASAP as CBI IT contracts are coming up for renewal now. This role was approved in the Cocoon IT One Time Cost model.
