The Behaviorist plans and provides behavior management programs for consumers ages 21+ on the inpatient unit who are dually diagnosed with IDD and mental health disorders. Provides related services to administrators, staff, parents, and the community as appropriate. Actively participates in the development and implementation of policies relative to the management of problematic behaviors. Identifies target behavior, conducts the Functional Behavioral Assessment as well as the plan development. Monitors all plans, supervises all documentation, and is responsible for all training of staff involved in behavior plans.
Hours:
This position is currently part time (totaling 28 hours per week) but can be changed to a full time position depending upon an applicant’s interest.
