POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Substation Project Engineer to work in the Power Delivery Small Utility Service (SUS) Department in our NW (Central Washington) Region. The department focuses on providing Owner Engineer and design services to PUDs, electric cooperatives, small municipalities that serve the public by providing electric utility service. The department includes several employees with past electric cooperative work experience. The department endeavors to have a strong service mindset, and the position provides the opportunity for the applicant to serve the membership and public of electric cooperative and public utility systems.
The successful applicant will be responsible for successful completion of assigned projects and for maintaining and improving client relationships. Completion of these functions requires technical competence as well as leadership competence in working with clients and mentoring and supervising team members assigned to projects. Salary DOE: The pay range for this position is $85k - $125k per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
