OVERVIEW:
We are a unique human service agency providing an array of person-centered, non-stigmatizing, and holistic supports to Adults with Disabilities and Children/Youth in Foster Care.
DUTIES:
We are currently looking for EQUINE COACHING / SUPPORT STAFF at our farm sites in Merrimac, MA. Full time and Part Time Available. Duties are to provide equine related guidance, horsemanship, vocational training and employment coaching to Adults with Developmental Disabilities and to children and youth, as well as general animal care, mucking stalls, and landscaping. Applicants must be 21 years old or over and should have a steady work history, a clean driving record, horse/farm experience, enjoy working outdoors, and be comfortable working with Individuals with Disabilities. A Massachusetts Horse Riding Instructor license is helpful but not required for all positions. Hours available include days, some early evenings, weekends, and holidays.
REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants must pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check, have professional references, speak and understand English fluently, and be legally able to work in the U.S. Full Covid vaccination is required prior to first day of employment as required by our state contract.
