Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)

Moose Lake Village is hiring a dedicated, Full-Time or Part-Time Health Unit Coordinator to join our team! You will provide personal care and supportive services to residents to maintain their comfort and safety.

This is a Full-Time or Part-Time, benefit eligible position working weekdays. Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm

Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities:

• Enter physician’s orders with high degree of accuracy.
• Schedule medical appointments and transportation.
• Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
• Provide ongoing customer service to residents, family members and facility visitors.
• Assist with inventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
• Complete other tasks as requested.

Health Unit Coordinator skills and requirements:

• Experience as a health unit coordinator, or health information certification desired.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications.
• Time management skills for working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
