About the Job
The Deng lab is currently seeking a Temp/Casual research technician who will help maintain Drosophila stocks and participate in several research projects that are supported by my current NIH R15 grant, with a primary focus on the functions of the Drosophila Keap1-Nrf2 oxidative response pathway in the regulation of euchromatin structure and developmental transcripts. Pay Rate: $20 / hour Job Duties may include: Drosophila food preparation and stock maintenance (20%) Making DNA constructs (40%) Molecular and microscopy analyses (30%) Other duties that may be assigned (10%)
Qualifications
Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Biology or similar field Preferred Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Biology or similar field. Minimum of 1 year experience in a research laboratory
