Requisition Summary
The North American Materials team is looking for an ambitious and self-directed Business Technology Analystto lead our projects from conception to launch.The Business Technology Analyst focus is to drive innovation and deliver solutions that change the way we do business and move PACCAR into the future. Successful candidates will be highly self-directed, excellent problem-solvers and be able to work with all levels of the organization. Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills are required. This Business Technology Analyst will work as part of the supply chain team and work towards identifying the most optimal, consolidated approach and system to support our North American manufacturing plants. Strong knowledge of software delivery methodologies is required. Job responsibilities will include gathering requirements, helping to define a product vision and strategy, and working with great developers to manage and execute projects.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Participate and act as a Business Analyst liaison between the business and IT providing solutions with advanced technology
Lead projects of moderate to high complexity with teams of 6 or more participants with budgets in the $1M range and project efforts of 7,500 man-hours or more
Gain enough technical details of a project to participate in the estimations process
Engage in multiple smaller projects, initiatives, and system requests simultaneously
Provide project status updates to leadership with a driven Agile approach
Build and execute project plans, functional test cases and ensuring conformance to established PACCAR standards and procedures
Supports product owners and customers to identify and document requirements to produce systems requirements documentation contributing to department process improvement activities
Job Functions / Responsibilities Continued
Perform project management tasks including project execution and reporting status to senior management
Facilitate workshops to scope projects and gather user stories from multiple stakeholders, teams, and departments
Support developers during the development process to understand the requirements while refining user stories with the business
Perform organizational tasks regarding change control, incident management, and audit
Perform functional, integration, and regression testing as needed to support projects
Acquire and coordinate resources and services from both external vendors and internal teams
Identify risks and collaborate with the team on mitigation plans
Help document and coordinate go-live activities
Travel 25% in first year (decreasing to 10%)
Qualifications / Skills
3+ years of experience in a business analyst or project manager role
Capacity to lead and work effectively with development and materials teams
Experience with SAP S4 specifically MM, WM, MDM, PP
Highly self-motivated and flexible with focus on delivery
Experience in participating in project in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
Demonstrated problem solving, facilitation, and customer service skills
Able to work effectively in a team environment with little or no supervision
Qualifications / Skills Continued
Strong understanding of business process, preferably in supply chain operations
Effective presentation skills suitable for senior management
Working knowledge of application technology stack and requirements for integration into the business environment
Proficient with Microsoft productivity tools, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Azure DevOps
On-call availability for business support
LEAN and/or Six Sigma experience preferred
Advanced Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM), project management training (PMP), and Six Sigma certification or training is desired
Experience in Manufacturing industry
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is strongly desired.

Wage Scale or Salary Range
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for a Business Technology Analyst is $80,800 - $115,200.00 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
