Description/Job Summary

Position Title: Non Salaried Foreman - Shift Supervisor
12 hour rotating/swing shift
Pay is commensurate with experience

Basic job duties: Supervises the operation and maintenance of equipment and employees related to the shelling and milling of rice. Conducts frequent inspections to ensure that equipment is functioning properly, product is within specifications and housekeeping is adequately maintained. Monitors and confirms accurate documentation of production, maintenance and sanitation procedures according to food safety and quality assurance guidelines.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Must possess working knowledge of cleaning, shelling, paddy, milling and sorting equipment.
  • Must possess working knowledge of grading and conveying equipment and baghouses.
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Must possess basic mechanical skills.
  • Must possess written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently.           
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 pounds when needed.       
  • Must be willing and able to climb up to 40 feet.
  • Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push and pull throughout the day.        

    Preferences
    Electrical knowledge.
