ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

This position is part of the Enterprise Payments and Analytics (EP&A) business in Key Corporate Bank. We provide our clients with best-in-class Treasury Services, Liquidity Solutions, Merchant Services, Corporate Cards, Foreign Exchange, and International Trade.

The Sr. Core Treasury Product Manager will support the Wire and RTP/Instant Payment product offering managed under the Electronic Payments Core Treasury Team. The Sr. Product Manager will provide leadership and drive forward the strategic roadmap for instant payment rail/RTP and develop business cases to support innovation around RTP Products. In addition, the Sr. Product Manager will provide support and enhancement to the Wire Transfer Product Offering Sr. Product Manager provides support to sales and field team members regarding the product offering at KeyBank. As a key contributor on the team, this individual will also work with other various stakeholders to accelerate progress towards Key's strategic initiatives by demonstrating product expertise, thought leadership, market support, client experience and partnering.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Lead portfolio management for existing Core Treasury products, including acquisition, deepening and retention efforts in alignment with segment strategies and client needs.
Drive improvements and support new products utilizing Wire and Instant Payments/RTP payment rails- create a best-in-class payable product offering, aligned with Key's strategic initiatives.
Partner with Key's Pricing and Portfolio Management to develop pricing strategies to accelerate acquisition and improve retention.
Assess the competitive / industry landscape, industry portfolio trends.
Manage profitability drivers of products to ensure they meet profitability hurdles.
Ensure strict adherence with product policies and guidelines to meet all legal, compliance and audit standards.
Prepare business reviews to highlight findings and recommendations to senior management.
Deliver training internally and externally to convey an understanding of the products, their usage and functionality. Support the sales force in selling the products and articulating the benefits to clients.
Develop and maintain product collateral, client and market communications to support the sales and product rollout processes.
May serve as a Project Manager on product-related initiatives across various channels.
Prepare business cases to seek approval for funding of new initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5 to 10 years of experience in financial services or treasury management. Core Treasury product management or Operations experience preferred.
Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred.
Entrepreneurial Mindset. Ability to identify business opportunities, develop a strategic plan to capitalize on those opportunities, and tactically implement the plan.
Direct product P/L responsibility.
Understanding of Commercial Banking Core Treasury products and segment needs through demonstrated portfolio management experience.
Demonstrated communication. Must be able to create and conduct executive level presentations, present at industry venues, and interface with the media and clients as appropriate.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to forecast. Excellent problem solving and quantitative skills.
A team player with proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with internal partners including finance, technology, operations, sales, marketing, legal, compliance, and other internal and external partners including vendors.
An ability to champion change, influence others, and foster teamwork.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data query and reporting knowledge.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
