2 Full-Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 03/11/2024 - 12/05/2024. Processing of pasture raised poultry beginning in late March to early December. After those months we discontinue raising poultry and pigs because we are not able to do so with the weather in the Northeast. During our peak season we raise 20,000 broilers, 650 turkeys and 150 pigs, therefore the heaviest need for labor, processing and caring or poultry and pigs. Duties include, but are not limited to: Daily watering, feeding and pasture rotation of broiler chickens, laying hens, ducks, turkeys, pigs. Management of chicken brooder. General farm work, and maintenance. May set up, operate, drive and repair farm vehicles, tractors, and machines, as well as assist with equipment maintenance for agricultural purposes. Products processing, packaging and inventory. Weekly slaughter processing of poultry and pork on -farm processing facility. 1 months experience in duties listed required.
