In the 2022 fiscal year, UW Medicine Advancement raised $284 million in gifts and private grants (46 percent of the University of Washington’s total) from nearly 14,000 donors to support the mission of UW Medicine. The Senior Director for Collaborative Fundraising Strategy (Development Director - Senior) reports to the Associate Vice President for Strategic Planning, Operations and Campaign (Associate Vice President) and is accountable for many aspects of UW Medicine’s advancement program. The Senior Director will play a critical role managing and enhancing fundraising partnerships with a variety of affiliated parties, both within and outside of the University. The Senior Director will provide leadership and tactical direction and will consult and advise UW Medicine’s leadership and Advancement colleagues to promote and facilitate the overall success of these partnerships.
