Shawnee Country Club is seeking talented individuals to join our team as a Maintenance Technician.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various mechanical and electrical systems in our facility. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and functionality of our operations.

Duties:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting equipment, checking fluid levels, and replacing worn-out parts
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with machinery, such as motors, conveyors, and pumps
Conduct electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with other team members to develop preventive maintenance schedules and implement efficient maintenance strategies
Weld or fabricate parts as needed for equipment repairs
Assist in facilities maintenance tasks, such as plumbing repairs or building renovations

Experience level:

2-3 years’ experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred
Proven experience in maintenance or a similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing machinery
Proficiency in electrical systems and ability to read schematics
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
Leadership qualities to effectively coordinate maintenance activities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
