Description
Shinda is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator, under the supervisor of the Property Manager, who is responsibble for coordinating tenant maintenance requests while providing comprehensive, pro-active service to tenants and owners.
Essential Role and Responsibilities:
Coordinate tenant maintenance requests and unit turnover maintenance
Use independent judgment to handle maintenance request, and respond as appropriate.
Utilize decision-making ability to problem solve and manage workflow efficiently.
Prepare letters and other forms of written communications to tenants and owners.
Manage recurring maintenance and billing.
Process vendor status reports and billing associated with maintenance requests.
Perform administrative duties in support of the Internal Operations Director.
Create positive relationships with owners, tenants, vendors and co-workers.
Receive the public and answer questions, in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries from residents, clients and others and refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department
Collect and process rent (if applicable)
Compose, type and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
At least two years of administrative experience
Computer Skills
SALARY RANGE: 40-45K ANNUAL (35 HOUR WORK WEEK)

Experience with property management software preferred.
Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
