Job Description
Laboratory Technician - Non-Destructive Testing
1801 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987
Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI All Hours Available
OVERVIEW:
Working as a Full-time Laboratory Technician - Non-Destructive Testing, you will use various equipment and methods, i.e. Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, and Ultrasonic methods, to examine fabricated parts for conformance to established standards or customer requirements. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
oTesting product in an A2LA Accredited Laboratory
oCollecting and analyzing test data, and data entry
oCommunicating project status and results
oCreating documentation, such as inspection instructions, reports on test results and certifications
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
oExcellent written and oral communication skills
oProficient using Microsoft Office Suite
oDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
oDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
oWork independently as well as in a team environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
oWillingness to stand for long periods of time
o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
oPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Possess or working towards a certification in NDT methods
o Prior experience using basic measuring equipment and inspection tools
o Possess an understanding of basic geometry

COMPENSATION:
The base pay range for this position is $39,000 - 42,000.
