Required Skills: | Summary: The Administrative Intake Specialist serves as an administrative staff person who provides administrative support directly to the Office Manager and to programs at Northland Counseling Center and in areas related to staffing, compliance, community relations, daily operations, and quality assurance. Qualifications include excellent communication skills as well as comfort and familiarity with computers, electronic medical records, and electronic communications. Typing proficiency is necessary. Administrative or office support experience required. Experience in mental health/substance use disorder field in either a direct care role or support role is preferred. |

Job Description: |
Responsibilities include: • Scheduling for clients • Complete record releases timely and completely when necessary • Coordinate Intakes for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder clients • Scan incoming and client documents as needed • Administrative oversight for Northland Counseling Recovery Program • Maintaining appropriate documentation • Inventory of office supplies and order as needed • Submit office expenses through Nexonia as needed • Post for position vacancies and coordinate with other NCC staff on vacancies • Contact job candidates and set up interview promptly when asked • Assist with facility operations and coordinate with Maintenance staff • Returning phone calls as general contact for NCC • Coordinate telehealth appointments • Communicate office and building needs with appropriate contact people either within NCC or Business Associates. • Perform Credible (EMR) functions in regards to setting up employee access as needed. • Coordinate with Maintenance staff and repair contractors to complete necessary work projects • Review staff orientation training checklists for new staff • Communicate regularly with Director of Operations and Office Manager as needed • Participate in staff meetings to provide administrative updates as necessary • Schedule and arrange appointments for NCC Psychiatry • Other duties as assigned
