Technical Trainer
Depends on Experience
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM with occasional adjustments to work schedule as needed for conducting training

Are you passionate about sharing your knowledge with others and helping them develop and grow?  We have a full-time job opening for a Technical Trainer with a company offering top of the line service work & the best customer service in the industry.  This position will help prepare, conduct and evaluate technical training programs for technicians at multiple locations so.  This is a great opportunity to help develop materials and design exercises for application both in person and virtually.  

Responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and conduct technical training programs & competency based classes
• Work closely with Department Managers to identify training needs & certification requirements
• Administer & track technical certification & licensing of technicians
• Plan, schedule & direct training sessions as needed
• Assist & support in recruitment efforts
• Promote & encourage all technical training opportunities (i.e. ASE Certification training)
• Assist Department Leads to ensure efficient & safe work environment

Requirements: 

• College Degree
• 5+ years of previous technician experience
• Prior teaching/training 
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally & in writing with variety of internal & eternal customers
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Must be comfortable working various computer-based programs to record & develop training
• Able to travel as needed for training; estimated less than 10%.
