Job Description:
Need 8 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Breckenridge, MN.
From: 02/01/2024 to 11/30/2024
Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, employee will earn one(1) hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) a year.

NOTE:

JOB DUTIES: Drive/operate farm machinery, plant, cultivate, spray, fertilize, harvest, store grain crops of corn, soy beans and sugar beets; attach farm implements, e.g. plow, disc, drill to tractor, till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment, drive/operate self-propelled combine to harvest crops; perform duties like lubricating, repairing farm machinery; transport produce to elevator or storage area.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum (3) months experience. Able to lift 50 lbs. To comply with Federal, State and County regulations, must be willing to obtain an appropriate driver's license (Class D) within two months of employment. If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record. No minimum education required.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
