JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The School for Workers seeks candidates
for this full-time, twelve-month, tenure-track appointment who are
committed to social justice and the empowerment of working people.
Responsibilities: Duties will include individual and classroom teaching
in labor relations and working-class studies in adult noncredit
education settings, with potential for teaching at the for-credit
undergraduate and graduate levels; scholarly research in one or more
area(s) of labor relations and working-class studies; service to the
department, college, university, and academic community, nationally or
internationally. In addition, faculty are evaluated in part on their
ability to contribute to the department\'s program revenue requirements.
They will be supported in their work necessary to meet UW-Madison Tenure

Appointment as Assistant Professor requires possession of a Doctorate in
a field related to labor education such as industrial relations, adult
education, organizational behavior or organizational development,
sociology, or a similar social science degree. Qualifications: The ideal
candidate will have at least 5 years experience in union and community
organizing, labor relations (including collective bargaining), labor
research, applied or community research or university-community
partnerships. Candidates will also be evaluated on a demonstrated track
