Bagger Machine Operator
Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for the set-up and operation of production machinery.

The bagger / machine operator is responsible for the operation and up-time of bagger and line machines, ensuring proper functionality and output through maintaining up-time, minimizing waste, following the scheduled production order, feeding WIP to keep machine lines full, supporting the pack-out team as needed, and trouble-shooting machine errors in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime.

  • Production Schedule and Prioritization Adherence
  • Heavy lifting
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous machine operation or technical experience not required, but preferred.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 40lbs.
  • Abides by GMPs, PC, HACCP, EMP, OSHA and USDA regulations as communicated by QA/QC.
  • High School Diploma or Technical Degree
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
  • Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and work effectively in team environment
