Responsibilities
Virginia Mason Medical Center is fulfilling our vision of transforming healthcare by hiring in our collaborative primary care team. We have an opportunity for a .75 - 1.0 FTE pediatrician at our medical paviolon located in Federal Way, Washington. Join an established multidisciplinary team whose members appreciate work/life balance, their team and the patients they serve.
Aspects of the pediatrician position:
- Negotiable .75 - 1.0 fte
- $260,000.00-$295,000.00 annual salary (based on a 1.0 fte). Depending upon experience (reasonable estimate which may ultimately pay more or less than)
- Replacing a long time retiring physician
- Five pediatricians
- Access to specialties, lab and radiology onsite at our large Federal Way Medical Pavilion.
- Stable team with excellent MA's, RN's in clinic and access to mental health resources.
- After hours call support
- Outpatient only. No new born rounding

Qualifications
- 2+ years pediatrics experience preferred
- BE/BC in pediatrics
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed
- 2+ years pediatrician experience highly preferred
Federal Way Regional Medical Center
Virginia Mason Federal Way offers a full range of primary care medicine services. Other services include rotating specialists, laboratory facilities, radiology, ambulatory surgery, anti-coagulation clinic, diabetes care management and mammography, among other services. The City of Federal Way is located 22 miles south of the city of Seattle along the Puget Sound Inlet and shadowed by the majestic Mount Rainier, making it an ideal suburban location in which to live and work. A wide variety of excellent living opportunities exist including condominiums, suburban neighborhoods, and homes with golf course, waterfront and water views. A large variety of recreational and cultural activities abound. In addition, Federal Way is a reasonable commute into the cities of Seattle and Tacoma for other recreational, shopping and cultural options.
