What You Will Do:
* You will support our planning and economic development team with general planning services to our municipal clients.
* Specific work tasks include:data analysis and collection
the review of land use applications
preparation of staff reports
plan and ordinance writing
code/zoning enforcement
community engagement
other duties related to planning and economic development
What You Will Bring:
* The successful candidate must have a four-year degree in urban planning or a related field.
* A desire to work to grow the Community Planning business.
* Strong presentation and writing skills.
* A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
* Proven abilities in leadership, facilitating commission/council meetings, relationship-building, a positive attitude, and a passion for your work are also required.
* A Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a similar field desired.
* 2-4 years experience desired but not required.
