Eliot is in search of an Assistant Program Manager with 2 years experience working with youthful offenders. The ideal person will be committed to the principles of Wraparound and practice within a Family Driven and Youth guided framework that embraces Family Voice and Choice. Experience with overseeing day to day operations of residential programs in accordance with DYS and DEEC policies is a plus.

Eliot’s juvenile justice programming includes a residential network for youth ages 13 to 21 who are court involved and need placement while awaiting return to court, assessment or longer term treatment. These highly structured, self-contained programs offer a comprehensive intervention for juvenile offenders.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day to day operations of the program in accordance with the program, contract, DYS, DEEC and ECHS policies.
  • Responsible for the scheduling of all staff and program activities.
  • Responsible for fiscal oversight and supervision of staff as assigned. 
  • Facilitate and attend as directed, all meetings associated with the operation of the program, including administrative, staff, shift change, and treatment team meetings.
  • Serve as a member of the administrative team and the on-call rotation. 
  • Assist in the hiring, counsel, discipline and discharge of staff; including participation in orientation, training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Submit timely and accurate employee supervision documentation and performance evaluations. 
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the youth, their families, community agencies, licensing agents and vendors, including DYS and DEEC. 
  • Responsible for the daily maintenance and completion of the program logs and systems including fire drills, search, security check, and all other assigned systems.
  • Develop and maintain positive community relationships.
  • Adhere to all licensing and funding requirements. 
  • Monitor facility maintenance, upkeep and supply ordering.

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week.  Tues- Saturday Flexible schedule (days/evenings).

Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000
