Lackawanna. RJS Machine Works. Machinist/Toolmaker. $20 - $30/hour. The ideal candidate will possess a high mechanical aptitude and a passion for producing high quality work, as accuracy is crucial. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks and have an incredible opportunity to develop well-rounded skills. CNC and Manual Machining, Assembly, Tooling are just a few ways we have fun. Our Wish List: - Strong math skills for measuring and calculating (Coordinate Geometry). - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. - Possess strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in production. - Perform quality control checks using measuring instruments (proficient use of micrometer, calipers, feeler gauge, etc.), to ensure products meet specifications. - Practice efficient set-up, operation, and maintenance techniques. - Manual machining experience preferred. - CNC Programming Skills preferred. - Work independently as well as with our team. - Good attitude and communication skills essential. - Ability to cross train throughout shop. - Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Required: - At least 2 years' experience in a related industry and the desire to learn. - High School Diploma or GED minimum, additional relevant technical school, training, work experience preferred. $20.00 - $30.00/hour. Starting pay based upon demonstrated experience, days only available. Experience is preferred.
